This unique and effective clinical massage for dogs works by releasing tight, sore muscles and eliminating debilitating knots or trigger points that can cause referred pain. Canine massage therapy supports soft tissue therapy for dogs, helping to rehabilitate injuries by breaking down restrictive scar tissue caused by everyday activities- often the root of your dog's mobility issues. Whether these problems have appeared suddenly or developed gradually, this natural pain relief for dogs offers a hands-on, results-driven approach to improving your dog’s quality of life.
Massage can significantly aid injury recovery for dogs and provide tangible support for orthopaedic conditions like arthritis and hip dysplasia, with many clients seeing results in just 1-3 sessions. If you’re a dog owner concerned about stiffness, lameness, or a change in movement, getting your dog treated by a Member of the Canine Massage Guild is a trusted, vet-referred option. This is more than relaxation- it's targeted, professional care for dog muscle pain treatment that gets real results
Each session is different but a massage can last anywhere between half an hour to 50 minutes

Checklist:
I encourage you to stay in the room during your dog's massage session as this often helps them to feel comfortable and relaxed.
This is golden time for you and your dog to spend an hour together with no distractions.
I work in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Veterinary Surgeons Exemption Order 2015, meaning it is a legal requirement for vet consent to be obtained before any work is done on an animal.
The vet consent form allows me to obtain crucial information on any issues your dog may have or have had in the past and highlight any contraindications to massage.
I will not go forward with treatment until I have a vet consent form.
Download the vet consent form here.
Email this to your vet or print it out and and request them to sign it.
Bring the form along to your first appointment or email it to me beforehand to info@coppolacaninemassage.co.uk
